Hotel Las Palmeras

Belize City, Belize District

Hotel Description
Las Palmeras caters to budget travelers offering simple and comfortable rooms at competitive prices. The most economical rooms have shared bath; rooms with private baths are also available. Two outside verandas give guests great views of the city along with ample breeze from the sea. There is a small snack shop downstairs for food and beverages (including bottle and can juices, purified water, beers and stout). Guests can relax in the sub-tropical climate on the patio while sipping ice cold Belizean beer. For Belizean and Chinese food there are a few restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Banks and major department stores are only a 5-minute walk away. The owner's aim is to offer competitive prices and to please you, the guest.

History & Owners
Mr. Frank Blades opened the hotel in 1981, the year of Belize?s Independence. The property had tall coconut trees next door and that inspired the name. Mr. Blades is retired and now runs the hotel and a small grocery shop downstairs.
