Costa Maya Beach Cabanas

Caye Caulker

Hotel Description
Costa Maya Beach Cabanas are situated close to The Split with a nice, sandy beach and private dock. Each cabana is private and has all amenities, including small refrigerators. In addition, guests have free use of kayaks, bicycles, and receive discounts on snorkeling tours from Tsunami Adventures, the on-site tour shop. There are a total of four buildings on the property with two units downstairs. The private patios with hammocks make a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the Caribbean Sea. There is daily room service and the office is open every day from 8 am to 6 pm.

Guests can kick back and relax in the beach chairs in the shade of the coconut trees. There is a picnic table and barbecue available for guest use to cook up and savor the fish they can catch from the end of the dock.

History & Owners
The Rosado family has lived on Caye Caulker their entire lives. In the year 2000, they decided to open a business naming it "Costa Maya" because of the family background and being on the sea. The property consisted of one private home until they decided to make cabanas to rent to guests. The entire family is involved in the business and it keeps everyone busy. Desi owns the cabanas and the property while Miguel (brother) helps with the hotel maintenance. Rolly takes out fishing trips from the tour shop. Neno, Betin and Ramon are members of the Caye Caulker Water Taxi Association with their boats Senira, Tsunami and Red Cameleon. Rene is the tour guide for snorkeling excursions in Little Tsunami.
